CNB Carpets Mobile Application

- Sales staff at CNB needed product specs and quotes in showrooms with spotty Wi-Fi and outdated paper catalogues.

- Business cards pile up after meetings. Typing contacts into your phone is slow and easy to put off.

- Scan the card, let AI pull the fields, save in one tap.

- Mobile app that scans cards, extracts contacts with OpenAI, and syncs favorites. Works offline when you need it.

How I work

Figure out the user moment
Who is stuck, and what are they trying to do? I sketch the flow before picking tools.

Test the risky part first
Build the smallest version that proves the idea: QR join, offline cache, AI parsing. Not the full feature list.

Cover every state
Loading, empty, error, and success matter as much as the happy path. I try to catch gaps before code review.

Ship and adjust
See what actually moves the needle, then tighten. Side projects are where I practice that loop.
